SilentScott spittin through the wire
This is a clip from an interview that Aimee & I did the night before I was scheduled to get my jaw unwired. We just wanted to document the experience before our memories got fuzzy. It has been almost a year since then and it really is hard to remember all the details now. In this clip I offer a little insight into why I’m naturally suited to author a photo-blog. I’m such a documentation whore, it’s like if I don’t capture it, then it didn’t happen. I’ll get around to posting the whole interview sometime, but I think it still needs some time to marinate.
I Saw #1
It’s a terrible picture, but it’s proof that I saw Virginia liscense
plate number 1 today. I wasn’t nearly as impressed as I thought I’d
be. I always kinda figured that the governor got those plates, so I
was hoping to see a tricked out limo or something.

Winston
I took this shot just about a year ago, but have never decided how I felt about it. I did however decide to finally post it and see what you guys and gals think. This picture was taken laying on my back next to the “Freedom Ramp.” I meant to freeze Davy in the frame, but my shutter speed was too slow and parts of the image are very blurry. In some ways I think it works because it gives the image a sense of motion, but I’m not sure if too much of the subject has been lost. So get busy in the comments and let me know what you see. Please be honest, you won’t hurt my feelings.
Yellow Dog
Yellow dog is a stray that Nick and Ashley took in when they found her wandering their neighborhood. She doesn’t do much besides lay on her bed and chill. She’ll get up if there is a bunch of excitement, but she never really joins in. She just stands there watching over the group in a motherly manner until we quite down to her satisfaction before walking back to bed. It really is one of the cutest animal behaviors I’ve seen.
Fat Kid Heaven
This is the “Country Boy” from Carytown Burgers and Fries, a limited edition special. It consists of an extra large sesame seed bun, upon which is laid a large portion of country fried steak. Grilled onions are perched on top before the whole thing is smothered in country gravy. I didn’t ride nearly hard enough to earn this thing, but you can bet I ate every bit of it.

Young Buck
I’m not thrilled with this shot, but I’m impressed that I shot it through my windshield with a compact camera. Those little things amaze me with what they are capable of and I know I’m not pushing it’s limits. Check out these pictures on Flickr that were all shot with the same camera I’m using, pretty inspiring.
