Snow Ride Footage

Proof that we didn’t just get Slurpees and hot dogs on our snow ride.

Railroad into the City

I hung out here and waited for a train that I thought I heard coming, but never showed.  Regardless, I still liked the picture a little bit so I thought I’d share.

Walking through Blackwater Creek

Before I went on the snow bike ride, I went for a walk with the girls and their dogs around Blackwater Creek.  It was a total mess and I wouldn’t recommend it, but the views were pretty.

Snow Ride Pit Stop

I guess I’m not the only one that wanted to get out of the house no matter what.  This shot was probably at about the halfway point on our 17 mile trek from Boonsboro to downtown Lynchburg.  It was the kind of ride that had no route and no rules.  We guessed our way through neighborhoods, stopped to goof off every 15 minutes, and threw snowballs at any opportunity.  I couldn’t help but be reminded of the pure joy of being a kid with a bunch of hooligan friends roaming the neighborhood.  This ride recharged my soul.

Close Enough

He made it so close to a parking spot, but decided he’d rather park in the middle of the road instead.  Now the plow can’t clear the lot for everyone else.

Tire Chains

I’d hate to get in the way of this bad boy.  Looks like this guy is ready for another big snowstorm here in Lynchburg.

Honeymoon in DC

Here’s another small set of photos from Aimee & I’s freezing walk around the National Mall.  What a great trip.

SilentScott Sleepin

Aimee made this video of me sleeping because apparently she thought it was weird that I was sleeping with one eye open. All I can say in my defense is that I don’t wanna close my eyes, I don’t wanna fall asleep cause I’d miss you babe, and I don’t wanna miss a thing.

Who’ll Stop the Rain

It’s been raining so much this season that even the ditches look like creeks.  I know that we’ve had droughts the past couple years, but I don’t care, I’m sick of all this awful rain.
