This is the part of the sampling where we identify the different species of fish that we’ve shocked up.  It’s always fun to play with all those fish and take their pictures.

This is the stick shift from one of my best friend’s truck.  He drove it all through college and then it broke down shortly after.  We spent many an afternoon and evening in his dad’s garage working on that truck and trying to get it back on the road.  It had a few stints where it ran pretty well for a while, but then the engine would shake out of it’s worn mounts and crush the fans into the radiator.  It never looked as cool as this one, but it was a cool truck that not unlike my cool truck is gone too soon.  I paid my respects to her today at casa de Flint and I’m happy to report that she’s resting peacefully looking out at the Cumberland State Forest.

I’m not really sure how I feel about this picture.  I captured it the way I meant to, but I’m just not sure if I like it or not.
