When Life Hands You Churros

I swear I’m not whining, I just thought this was funny.  I went to a local Mexican restaurant tonight, knowing full well that there was nothing there that I could eat.  I just wanted to hang out with my friends and get out of the house for a while.  When the waiter turned to me I just thought I’d ask if they could make a milkshake for me.  He quickly replied yes even though it wasn’t on the menu, so I thought I was golden.  I pushed my luck and asked if he would throw an order of churros into the milkshake.  He nodded and wrote down my order seeming to fully understand my request.  My friends even stopped him before he left and told him that my jaw was wired shut to make sure he knew what was going on.  Another few quick nods and he was off to the kitchen to put the order in.  Almost as soon as he left the food started showing up and to my dismay he brought me a plate of churros.  I’m curious what he would have brought me if I hadn’t tried to add the churros.  As you can see in the picture, the last month has taught me what to do when life hands you churros.  You just stick ’em in the blender with milk and ice cream and enjoy.
