Bridge Plaque

It’s amazing to me that something can survive right there in direct sunlight on top of concrete.  Mother Nature is cool.

Slippery Slope

I know that most of the time my job looks pretty good in pictures, but you gotta agree with me that all this snow piled up against every bridge is a total pain in the butt.

Tank Bridge

A large part of my job is driving from bridge to bridge, but this is the only bridge I’ve ever monitored that was made for tanks.  Don’t let the scale of my close up shot fool you, this bridge is huge.  If you squint really hard and look at the top of the picture you can see part of my full size pickup truck just to the right of the guard rail.  And while those may look like large caliber rifle casings, it’s actually tiny .223 brass from an assault rifle.

Oh yeah and it’s still really cold out there.
