I’ve shown you this bridge before with spent AR casings laying around, but today I found a much more curious piece of weaponry on display. I’m no expert, but this looks like an improvised explosive device (IED) to me. And this is why I hate going into Fort Pickett to collect water samples.

dude, even with the sticker that says ‘inert’ that thing is scary. training device or not, if someone left something like that just laying around here the city would be shut down. they evacuated the federal courthouse, closed Broad Street in both directions and called in the bomb squad a few weeks ago because someone left a sleeping bag on the steps.
